Hello, my name is Dale and my Appalachian Trail trail name is “Mapless”
I moved to Franklin North Carolina in 2024 to become part of the trail community. I was born, raised and lived most of my life in Northeast Ohio (Cleveland) and still hope to see a Browns championship team in my lifetime.
As of April 1, 2025 I am retired from my professional life and now consider myself a full time section hiker of the Appalachian Trail. I have created this blog to log my hikes and adventures along the trail.
I hope you will enjoy the ride along with me.
